This is an article I found at on how to measure the impact of your business’s social media. Apparently, this is a difficult thing to accomplish since there is no direct social customer relationship management (CRM) solution. The article offers four main tips for more effective measurement:

1) “Define your inputs for lead generation.

2) Use lead scoring to place leads into the proper place in the sales funnel.

3) Understand where social media efforts end and sales efforts begin.

4) Ask yourself where you need to optimize your social media lead generation efforts.”
